SUMMERSTAGE in Central Park
Since 1986, SummerStage has brought a diverse selection of music to Central Park with notable acts such as Curtis Mayfield, Sonic Youth, Patti Smith, Stevie Wonder, and many more!
The Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage Festival's Central Park flagship venue is uniquely situated in a stunning location at Rumsey Playfield, 72nd Street and Fifth Avenue. The venue underwent an extensive $6 million upgrade in 2019, transforming the space into a state of the art, seasonal concert facility.
With a capacity of 5,000 and a location right in the heart of New York's Central Park, there are few comparable outdoor event experiences. Our renovated venue, which is open from mid-May through early October each year, features VIP viewing areas; multiple private entertaining spaces; raised bleacher seating; and state-of-the-art production capabilities.
The venue is available for full-day or multi-day private rentals including corporate events, fashion shows, lifestyle events, concerts, galas and fundraisers, television and film shoots, private events and more.
