Aku is a multi-talented musical force, a DJ, producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, as well as being a key member of the Grammy-nominated band Florence and the Machine (they were introduced by mutual friend Mark Ronson), and a crucial musical accomplice (DJ/bass/keys) to the critically acclaimed American rapper Santigold. He has also penned tracks for the likes of Saul Williams, TV on the Radio and Massive Attack.

When not touring the world with his regular commitments, Aku applies his decade-plus experience on the decks at New York, Paris and London’s top clubs and nightlife spots (Soho House, Paul’s Baby Grand, Silencio, KOKO) to DJing events for eminent clients in the fashion, film, music and other industries - including Chanel, Versace, Teen Vogue, MoMA and the prestigious Whitney Biennial, one of the art world’s most important events.
