We're stepping into our 21st year with a bang, and as we approach this remarkable milestone, we sensed an opportunity for a rebrand to herald our venture into the realm of legal drinking age!
It's time to set the record straight. We've heard you loud and clear - it's not K Agency, it's The Kagency!
But why the confusion? Well, let us take you back to the roots. In the halls of university, our CEO and Founder, Karrie Goldberg, was dubbed KAGE by her dear friend Leslie Weinroth (ask her about the KGB story sometime).
What began as an idea to develop a best-in-class venue marketing and booking firm, burgeoned into a formidable force in the industry. With each passing year, our reach expanded, we diversified our talent pool to encompass various creatives, and ventured into realms such as media buying and venue design. Quietly we also cultivated a reputation as go-to talent buyers, with notable clients like Anderson Paak, Charlie Sheen and Billy Joel.
Today, The Kagency's footprint has expanded into global markets, representing over 500 premier venues and 50 talent worldwide.
To say the past two decades have flown by would be an understatement. The unforgettable memories we've forged, the one-of-a-kind nights with the likes of Prince or Lady Gaga, the friendships nurtured, the obstacles surmounted (a heartfelt nod to Grinder Girl), and the endless moments of laughter (looking at you Ricky Gervais)-all woven into the fabric of our journey.
