Proyecto Público Prim is a strikingly beautiful venue with available indoor and outdoor spaces, in the historic village of Colonia Juárez, just outside the center of bustling Mexico City. Dating to 1899, the neoclassical design is an homage to renowned 18th Century Mexican architect Manuel Tolsá. The former turn-of-the-century mansion of engineer Alberto Robles Gil had been abandoned for nearly a half century, before at last getting a historically sensitive restoration and makeover in 2013, which carefully maintained a hint of the “abandoned” ambiance, for atmospheric purposes.
Now spread across a pair of Porfirian-era houses are three different event spaces - Patio 30, Jardín 34, and Terraza 34 - with 800 totally capacity and that literally are like nothing anything else in the market. The location makes it ideal for unforgettable company retreats - the Spotify marketing team were recent guests - but also for any event that hopes to be talked about for months after.
