  • Nick Walker is one of the world’s most renowned street artists, having emerged from the Bristol graffiti scene in the early 80s, and since gone on to genuinely iconic status. In fact, he is credited, along with Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja, with starting the groundbreaking stencil graffiti style, which would go on to influence Banksy and so many others. He has since collaborated regularly with the fashion, music and film industries, even notably recreating New York’s graffitied streets for Stanley Kubrick’s 1999 film Eyes Wide Shut, and being featured in a video by Black Eyed Peas. He’s also staged sold out shows from London to Los Angeles.

For commissions, Walker creates custom art for large scale murals, film backdrops and all manner of editorial projects, and his work can even be privately commissioned. His singular style, which marries the wild energy of graffiti culture with a tightly controlled creative process, is utterly unmistakable.

  • Walker draws on the energy and imagery of graffiti but he succeeds in combining the freedom the spray can brings, with very controlled and intricate stenciling. The results are highly sophisticated and infinitely desirable. The methods he uses retain their forcefulness and integrity on the traditional medium of canvas.
