mOma is a Sudanese-born, Queens-raised DJ and music producer, with a New York soul but a decidedly international ambition. His equally eclectic and exotic sets find him effortlessly mixing Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Afrobeats, Soca, Amapiano, Baile funk, Soul, R&B, Disco, and House sounds matter-of-factly rousing a room, and often leaving revelers talking about it for months after. It’s precisely that energy that has made him a global phenomenon, headlining events from London to Berlin, Paris to Toronto, and Lagos to Johannesburg, whilst holding down regular residencies in NYC, LA and Miami. Whether it’s spinning to a glam crowd at The Standard Highline’s Le Bain nightclub, or taking it to the community with his now legendary Everyday People Party (which Vice called “The world’s coolest day party”), mOma well knows how to electrify a crowd.
Additionally, he is an official DJ and A&R for the Dreamville record label founded by rapper J Cole and also had the pleasure of a featured appearance in Beyonce’s “Lose Yourself In Love” by Tiffany & Co.
