Jarobi White is known as one of the founding members of one of the most enduringly beloved hip-hop groups, A Tribe Called Quest, whose 1990 debut album literally changed the boundaries and possibilities of the genre. As a DJ he brings the same passion and artistry to his work behind the decks, taking the audience on a sonically uplifting trip through the best of the 70s, 80s and 90s.

He left to pursue a a life in the culinary arts, but returned for their triumphant reunion/final album in 2016. His successful restaurant career had taken him to DC, Atlanta, South Carolina and then to New York, where he worked in a Michelin-starred kitchen. He brings the same passion and artistry to his work behind the decks, taking the audience on a sonically uplifting trip through the best of the 70s, 80s and 90s, sharing the grooves from his youth up to the time of his first success, acting as a musical “tour guide” through the finest R&B, worldbeat, soul, pop and hip-hop party anthems.
